Very interesting teal coloured glass syphon, etched with the name of a brasserie in Bourges central France.
In the early 1900's small amounts of uranium were incorporated into the molten glass in various amounts. This gave a variety of colours from very subtle pale greens and teal to darker blues which glow under ultraviolet light.
The amounts of uranium were so minute that they present no danger to health!!
