9 very collectable glazed Porcelain Jugs of various sizes, manufactured in the commune of Saint Uze in the Drôme region of S.E. France from the mid 1800's to the 1930's.
The region is famous for its deposits of white kaolin and feldspar clays which when fired result in a very durable and impervious porcelain also known as "terre d'acier" or steel earth.
Decorated with deep cobalt blue and lead free glaze.
