A classic example of French Art Deco "Form Facette" glazed earthenware from the Faiencerie D'Onnaing (Nord) factory, hand painted in striking deep green and gold.
The enterprise was founded in 1821 and ceased production in 1938 having never really recovered from the destruction of their kilns, molds and parts of the factory during the first world war.
The set consists of Bowl 35cm dia 11cm deep.
