Deeply glazed and hand painted in the rich colours evocative of the Mediterranean Provencal region. Olives, lavender, wine, tomatoes and capsicums and the seashores.
Glazed pottery has been produced since Roman times in the region notably in the communes of Vallauris, Moustiers-St-Marie and Varages.
