A late 1800's piece of the Henri II Renaissance Revival period. Called an Henri II buffet after the French King who reigned during the 16
th century Renaissance period. The twisting organic carvings with Acanthus motif, fruit filled vases and the 'Filled Horn' (Cornucopia) symbolising an abundance, even the escutcheons, keys and handles suggest a florid oversupply. This beautifully maintained Cherrywood dresser is our tallest piece to date when fully assembled. It is also an impressive piece without the middle riser as indicated in the photographs.
When fully assembled 2670mmH x 1510mmW x 590mmD
Without the middle riser 2280H
